Kamara Gallagher started taking classes and performing with Fat Chance Belly Dance in 1992, was a founding member of Ultra Gypsy in 1996, and a founding member of Azure in 1997. She then became the mother of Kalyana in 2000 and Neyalla in 2002. After lots of post-baby Pilates and yoga she and her family moved to Colorado Springs in 2004 to be near family. There she had the great fortune of meeting some wonderful belly dancers and helped to found Mizmar Madness. She is now teaching Tribal Fusion Belly Dance and performing in Colorado. Her dance background includes: yoga, afro-Brazilian, disco and hip-hop.
